The 5 P’s of Entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurship is not a destination, it is a journey. In other words, it is overcoming your obstacles and learning through it. This journey pushes you to come out from your comfort zone and makes you aware of the fact of growth and failures. Every journey includes some times of joy and a few setbacks. The joyful moments will give you strength and motivation to move ahead and the setbacks will help you to grow and take over your mistakes. Life is messy and change is difficult. There are always going to be things that you can’t and shouldn’t try to control. The more you will make things practical and actionable, the earlier you will find a path of recovery and growth. Starting an enterprise is neither easy nor you can get success in your first attempt.

So there are 5 P’s that make every entrepreneur unique and different.

                     

Passion

Passion is the driving force of every entrepreneur, it acts as a source of motivation, inspiration, energy, etc. Your passion gives you a strong belief in the fact that anything can be done if we put the right amount of effort into it. Passion is like doing what you love the most and the more you do the greater the chances for succeeding. Passion is the basic and simple key to mastering a skill. All the successful persons out there have something in common and that is a their strong passion for work or job. Carmine Gallo states that “ what makes your heart sing” is your passion. Now it is our duty and responsibility to find that passion in ourselves.

Persistent Learning

Learning never stops, in fact, you can learn new things at the age of 60 or so. My father taught me to strive for knowledge and be the best at whatever I do. He would say “ You can have houses, wealth, prestigious things but one day it can all be gone. The only thing that no one can take away or snatch from you is your knowledge” The way we learn things or the thoughts we have in our minds(knowledge) is as unique as our DNA. Persistent learning means learning new things anytime, anywhere, and from anyone. Take the learning, knowledge, and valuable information from everyone and absorb it like sponges.

Permanent Change

Resisting a change is human nature but the faster we accept the change and adapt to it the more it will help us to be better. An entrepreneur can not stick to things permanently, they have to be flexible and pliable to change with the changes. The ability to accept and perceive a change is one of the most powerful skills of an entrepreneur. As Charles Darwin said, “ it is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives, only that species survive that is adaptable to change”. An entrepreneur always modifies and transforms with changes.

Perseverance

On our road to success, we face many ordeals and troubles. We set targets and want to achieve them the right way, but somewhere we fall short on these goals. Success is like a muddled road with various ups and downs, and we should perceive and navigate it with proper care. You might be lost in your way, but eventually, reach the destination and this is what perseverance is. Perseverance helps you to reach the peak of the mountain during the fast and heavy air. It is a skill to achieve a high level of success.

Potential

 Many kinds of research prove that the brain capacity of an average person is way greater than its usage. Every entrepreneur invests in their potential by churning their mind and feeding their brain with quality content. Every human being is an average of 5 people around them, if you have a good environment and successful people around you, the potential range increases. You can only check the level of your potential by taking at your journey, actions, thoughts. Potential is like a bubble that expands with knowledge, experience, and experiments. Your potential can only be identified by you. So, start working on it.
